Seit über zwanzig Jahren ist die Fotografie meine Leidenschaft und zugleich mein Beruf – dabei schlägt mein »Fotografenherz« für die ebenso präzise wie emotionale Umsetzung meiner Themen. Die Basis für meine Arbeiten sind durchdachte Konzepte und eine künstlerische Haltung zur Umwelt. Mich leitet dabei mein Gespür für die Komponenten Licht und Zeit – gepaart mit einem hohen Maß an Konzentration, um die entscheidenden Momente vor Ort zu erkennen.

Fotografie bedeutet für mich Begeisterung – und es erfüllt mich mit Freude, Ihnen auf meinen Webseiten eine Auswahl meiner Arbeiten zu präsentieren. Dabei möchte ich auf diesem Weg allen PartnerInnen danken, denn es sind meist Kooperationen, die meine fotografischen Projekte in den Themenbereichen Industrie, Schifffahrt, Landschaft und Architektur ermöglichen.

Von 1988 studierte ich Visuelle Kommunikation im Fachbereich Foto/Film-Design der Fachhochschule Bielefeld mit Diplom 1993. Von 1995 bis 1999 lehrte ich im Fachbereich Kunst an der Universität Paderborn. Zu meinen KooperationspartnerInnen gehören namhafte Unternehmen und Institutionen aus Europa und den USA. Meine Arbeiten werden international publiziert und ausgestellt.

Photography has been my passion and profession for over twenty years – my „photographer’s heart“ beats for the precise and emotional realisation of my subjects. My work is based on well thought-out concepts and an artistic approach to the environment. I am guided by my feel for the components of light and time – coupled with a high degree of concentration to recognise the decisive moments on location.

For me, photography means enthusiasm – and it fills me with joy to present a selection of my work on my website to you. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my partners, as it is mostly collaborations that make my photographic projects in the fields of industry, shipping, landscape and architecture possible.

From 1988 I studied Visual Communication in the Department of Photo/Film Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Bielefeld, graduating in 1993. From 1995 to 1999 I taught in the Department of Art at the University of Paderborn. My co-operation partners include well-known companies and institutions from Europe and the USA. My work is published and exhibited internationally.
